As an athelete who has been playing some form of sport and doing strength training for more than 3 decades, I was looking for someone who was qualified and capable to train me.

Over the past few years, I had picked up a lot of injuries. Several ortho and physio visits later my injuries continued to persist. This prompted the decision to work with a fitness coach and mentor after many years of training alone. Luckily, I stumbled upon Momentum. 

What I liked about Momentum and Akkil is the wholistic approach to fitness and training. This not only includes strength & conditioning, explosive movements, mobility and functional fitness but it combines all of this with physiotherapy with a highly qualified therapist for specific sports related injuries. 

Akkil’s customized approach to the individual athletes' specific needs is what I love the most. It also helps that the facility that Momentum has is top notch in terms of equipment, space, hygiene and ambiance.

Three months into my training I feel better than I have in a very long time and I plan to train at momentum for a very long time to come.

I really appreciate your energy and and motivation towards achieving my goals. Also, your patience when I’m unable to get a workout right helps me push myself yet not force a movement.

Also, my favourite part about working out with you is that you track my progress so closely and meticulously- if I want to know what weight I was working with in a particular exercise from 6 months ago- you have all the details- from the weight, to the number of reps (probably even the day!!)
